Virtual State Fair MCD Booth
Presented by Minnesota Council on Disability
September 2 – September 15, 2020
You remember the big ADA sticky notes board? Over the years we asked you:
“What does disability mean to me?”
“Write a Haiku poem”
“What does ACCESS mean to you?”
…and this gem, “Disability Rights – What’s next?”
You posted thousands of sticky notes to that board!
So, let’s virtually post them! We’ve got GREAT questions for you this year with the theme “Keep Moving Forward.”
We’ll be posting questions, photos, and surprises on this Facebook Event page. Tune in often and write your sticky notes to the questions!

Minnesota Council on Disability Celebrates the ADA with “Keep Moving Forward,” “Thanks to the ADA,” and more
The Minnesota Council on Disability (MCD) is committed to continuing the conversation on how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) works. We provide training, technical assistance and work with our partners to develop public policy that upholds this landmark civil rights law that leveled the playing field for people with disabilities. Through August 1, MCD will highlight some areas of life made more accessible “Thanks to the ADA.” We will also celebrate by sharing some new and past segments of “Keep Moving Forward,” an interview series featuring people with disabilities sharing perspectives, insights, and experiences produced by Ampers.
